The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—used the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then settled his obligations and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as important members in House Halovar could enable the group enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight participants to form the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which players will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
